Liam Abbott has just turned eighteen and is alone for the first time in his life. Since he was a child, he had lived in the system, moving from foster home to foster home. He’s struggling to live with his demons when agents from the Department of Child Safety, Youth and Women knock on his door with news that he’s been identified as the father of a newborn whose mother died of an overdose. This is his story and the story of his daughter, Liberty Joy Williams. Each episode is roughly 100 pages.
